Pre-incubation Eligibility:

• Only students, staff, alumni, or individuals associated with the college's extension services may apply.
• Applicants must submit the prescribed format (Annexure-1) along with required documents.
• Designated as Pre-incubatee.

Incubation and Virtual Incubation Eligibility:

• Applicants must incorporate as a company under the Indian Companies Act.
• Submission of prescribed format (Annexure-2) and required documents.
• No application entertained without company incorporation.

Start-up Formation:

• Start-ups by individual entrepreneurs or groups not yet incorporated may apply.
• If selected, incorporation under legal entities required within three months from signing incubation agreement.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Proprietorship or Public Limited Companies ineligible.
• Start-up must not exceed 7 years from registration.
• Annual turnover not to exceed ₹5 crore.
• Start-up not formed by splitting or reconstructing existing businesses.
• Focus on innovative products/processes/services with scalable business models.

Additional Criteria:

• Start-ups or innovations by GECA Faculty governed and approved by the Institute.
• Companies promoted by students ineligible if student holds executive position, but can apply otherwise.
• Regular government staff need 'No Objection Certificate' from employer for incubation.
• Companies engaged in conflicting activities with GECA require explicit permission from the Institute for incubation eligibility.
